Intensive Care Medicine (ICM)

Doctors who have recently been notified that they were accredited in the sub-specialty of Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) by the Specialist Accreditation Board must submit an application to the Singapore Medical Council in order to be registered as an Intensive care Medicine specialist.  Registration is necessary for the doctor to practise in future as a specialist in ICM.  The fee for specialist registration is $500 which may be paid by a cheque or alternatively, the application may be submitted online and with payment via credit card at:

Important Note:

• On payment and registration SMC secretariat will notify via email when the above-mentioned certificates are ready for collection.  You will receive the Specialist Accreditation Certificate and Specialist Registration Certificate together.

• The processing time for an application for specialist registration is about 2 weeks upon receipt of the completed application and fee
